2022-23 Healing Key Way Foundation Course

You are invited to apply for the 2022-23 Healing Key Way Foundation Course. This is a (approximately) 160-hour, intensive four session course.

Healing Key Way is a process designed to serve the spiritual healing and evolution of human kind.  It promotes personal and collective advancement toward Enlightenment and Self-Realization by raising individual consciousness or awareness and connecting more deeply with ones own Spiritual Self. Part of the course’s mission is to address some of the great spiritual mysteries, since they are a part of the spiritual ecosystem of our work as practitioners. 

In attending, you have the opportunity to learn a structured set of protocols designed to guide a person through their own self-directed transformation processes. Healing Key Way incorporates energy-based methods as well as the ancient mystery-knowledge of energy and Spirit. The course is designed to be experiential and academic and has a hands-on practical approach. You will find the teaching and learning environment more like that of a mentoring and apprenticeship process as in the ancient mystery schools. Instruction includes both didactic teaching of course content as well as live demonstrations followed by supervised practice sessions of specific protocols and interventions.

Whether taking the course for professional or personal use, those who attend report being empowered to: more fully live their life’s true purpose, accelerate their personal transformation, as well as develop and expand spiritual and intuitive gifts. For those who take the class with the intention of Healing Key Way practitioner certification, the following is required:

1. Satisfactory completion of the course.

2. Passing a written examination (open book!)

3. A minimum of 30 completed sessions, as a client, from a certified Healing Key Way practitioner.

4. A minimum of 100 supervisor reviewed practice sessions as a facilitator.

5. Approval* by William and Karen as fully ready. *If muscle testing indicates you are ready.

COURSE TEACHERS: WILLIAM PHIPPS and KAREN KUENNING

The Healing Key Way course is the product of collaboration between William Phipps, M.S., Ph.D., and Karen Kuenning, M.S., L.P.C., and Spirit.

William graduated with a B.S. from Brigham Young University (1975), an M.S. in counseling from the University of La Verne (1986) and a Ph.D. in Metaphysics from the Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary (2015). An unassuming teacher, he shares the accumulated wisdom of years of searching, learning and teaching in the areas of spiritual healing and growth. His path of spiritual preparation includes varied studies and experiences with indigenous healers and teachers, as well as spiritual masters including India’s Sri Vijayeshwari Devi, also known as Karunamayi or Amma, the hugging mother.

William’s other trainings include Metaphor Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing, Thought Field Therapy, Reiki, Spirit Releasement Therapy, Healing From The Body Level Up, Tapas Acupressure Technique, Guided Self-Healing, Soul Retrieval, Reconnection, and Advanced Integrative Therapy.

Once a part of the traditional mental health system, William now works solely as an ordained minister under the auspices of the late reverend William Baldwin, Ph.D., co-founder of the center for human relations.

Karen comes to this work as a licensed professional counselor with undergraduate work in Pre-Medicine, Environmental Studies and Psychology from the University of Montana. She received a B.S. in Psychology and Environmental Studies (1975) and an M.S. in Counseling (1977), both from the University of Oregon.

Also an accomplished teacher, Karen shares William’s enthusiasm and gratitude in bringing to students her experience, knowledge, intuitive gifts and the wisdom learned along her own spiritual path. She has developed and facilitated numerous groups, including energy-based healing groups. Having witnessed that some of the most profound spiritual healing and growth is experienced within groups, she is especially excited to include this dimension in the training.

Her spiritual journey began prior to age five with profound connection to and awe of the larger universe, the earth, and earth’s life forms. This is reflected in her early, varied studies in science and ecology and in her deep involvement with nature. Her path evolved to include numerous trainings and studies; as well as continued mentoring with indigenous healers, spiritual teachers and Masters.

Karen’s other trainings include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Tapas Acupressure Technique, Thought Field Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Healing From the Body Level Up, Guided Self-Healing and Advanced Integrative Therapy. She is an advanced level practitioner in many of these.

Karen and William have worked and trained together for over twenty five years. Their combined knowledge and expertise in alternative healing is extensive. Their synergy provides a unique, supportive and often humorous environment for student learning.

This course is limited to a total of 19 attendees, including returning students. Please reserve a spot by submitting the digital application below and sending in your non-refundable* $200 application fee. This fee will be applied towards your first session’s tuition.

Application Review

William and Karen review each application and muscle test for readiness to attend the course.

Session 1:
2022 / Monday, May 23rd lunch - Thursday, May 26th lunch.

Session 2:
2022 / Thursday, October 20th lunch - Tuesday, October 25th lunch.

Session 3:
2023 / Friday, March 10th lunch - Wednesday, March 15th lunch.

Session 4:
2023 / Monday, September 11th lunch - Friday, September 15th breakfast.

Tuition

Tuition is $4,192 for new students and $2,096 for returning students. Tuition is paid in four installments, due at the beginning of each session. You can pay your tuition by check or credit card.

Food & Lodging  

Class is held at camp N-Sid-Sen. It is a year-round camp and retreat center located on the eastern shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene in northern Idaho. The name comes from a phrase of the Coeur d’Alene native people meaning “Point of Inspiration”. This incredibly beautiful site includes 270 acres and almost a mile of shore line. Learn more and get directions at n-sid-sen.org.

You will pay N-Sid-Sen directly for your food and lodging. The food and lodging amounts listed below are based on at least 15 attendees. If there are fewer attendees, the extra cost will be shared equally between all attendees.

Please make separate food and lodging checks for each session out to: N-Sid-Sen, due on the day of arrival.
